Ram Truck Converted Into a Dedicated Soil Sampling Rig for Nutrien Ag Solutions

This is the second soil sampling truck we've built for Nutrien Ag Solutions - and honestly, getting asked back for a second build means more to us than just about anything. Repeat customers are the real measure of whether you're doing things right.

Here's what this kind of build actually involves. It's not just bolting something in. Seats came out to make room for the hydraulic system. A full custom framework was fabricated and installed to mount everything securely. Hydraulics were plumbed, an auxiliary battery system was added to handle the extra electrical load, and the exhaust was rerouted to work around all of it. Every piece had to fit together in a way that made sense for a truck that's going to get used hard in the field.

The hydraulic column you see mounted inside the cab is the heart of the whole setup. It needs to be solid - this isn't a trailer queen, it's a working tool that gets driven through fields and put to use every single day. The fabrication and mounting had to be done right, not just good enough.
